That is why Drive provides all newcomers with a quick overview of the entire BMW Group organisation, its divisions as well as its processes. You will get to know products, brands and people in depth right from the beginning and will be able to quickly build up your own network.
When does the Drive Programme start and who is it for?
You can't apply directly for Drive. The programme will accompany you, in consultation with your future department, in your first 12 months 'on the job', i.e. when you have already taken on responsibility in a specific role. This means that everyone who has successfully passed the BMW Group recruitment process is automatically entered into the Drive programme.
What is the content of the programme?
You can make a significant contribution to the design of your programme. This is because participants sign up for the individual components of their choice. Components include:
- Diverse onboarding events with senior business representatives in order to learn about BMW Group processes and to develop an interdepartmental understanding of these
- Work experience in the production department in order to gain practical experience with the cars themselves
- Work experience with major interface partners in order to better understand corporate processes
- Various other offers depending on your field
- In addition, you will have the opportunity to broaden your horizons and get to know managers from many different departments at various Drive events
