The BMW Group’s new "Sustainability – What drives us" exhibit proves that sustainability can also be fun. Four innovative computer games showcase examples of areas where the BMW Group is committed to sustainability.
The games were developed specially for the exhibit to deliver information with an emotional impact. They provide an interactive, informative and emotionally-engaging hands-on experience of how the BMW Group has established sustainable thinking and action throughout the entire company, and how it is assuming responsibility.
- How economically can you drive a car? Test how efficient your driving style really is in our 1 Litre Race.
- How good are you at saving water? Close the water cycle – just like we do with wastewater at the BMW engine plant in Steyr.
- So, you want to avoid traffic? Show off your organisational skills and direct traffic more efficiently.
- Do you want to save CO2 and have some fun? Learn about BMW’s many different Efficient Dynamics technologies by playing Efficient Dynamics pinball.
Each of the exhibits also features an interactive sustainability lexicon which you can use to find out all about the BMW Group’s wide range of different sustainability activities and initiatives.
Corporate sustainability has been one of the company’s core strategic principles for ten years now, and is firmly established throughout its entire value chain. The Dow Jones Sustainability Index had good reason to rank the BMW Group as the world’s most sustainable automobile manufacturer for the sixth consecutive year in 2010.
