The job role of a Maintenance Engineer includes the rapid detection, rectification & prevention of faults and the operation, programming & optimisation of automated production plant and equipment.
Duration of the course.
3.5 - 4 years
Berufschancen: The Advanced Modern Apprenticeship programme includes: - NVQ2 Performing Engineering Operations & NVQ3 Engineering Maintenance - Further Education Course National Certificate/HNC - Specialised equipment training (e.g. Robotics, PLC\'s) - Opportunities for higher education are available, depending on pre-qualifications, personal performance and business needs - German Language training NVQ2/NVQ3 - International work placements may be possible during the programme

Requirements.
- Applicants need to be innovative, enthusiastic, self-motivated, reliable and conscientious team players with an interest in technology in general
- A minimum of 4 GCSE's (Oxford Plant), minimum of 3 GCSEs (Hams Hall Plant), (Maths/English/Science & a Technology/Business subject) at grade C or equivalent are required
