Engineering technicians are responsible for applying the latest automotive technology to our products. Training includes the study of modern technology, state-of-the-art engineering and production techniques so you need to understand the assembly and function of technical equipment.Our Technicians are experts in the development, manufacture, repair and quality assurance of our products.
Duration of the course.
3.5 - 4 years
Working areas.
Technical and process support to vehicle body, paint, assembly and logistics manufacturing operations. The engineering design and development process for model and facility installations.
Opportunities. Starting with NVQ3 Technical Services supported by BTEC NC / HNC or Degree. Training through internal work placements. Opportunities to apply for International work placements and German language training are available for high performing candidates.

Requirements.
- Most of all, we are looking for innovative, enthusiastic, self-motivated, reliable and conscientious team players
- You will need to be self motivated and have the dexterity for precise work with small components
- Ability to handle figures and calculations, of all types, rapidly and with accuracy
- Minimum of 4 GCSE's at grade B or equivalent (Oxford Plant), minimum of 4 GCSE's at grade C or equivalent. Maths/English/Science and a Technology related subject
