As a consultant for benefits in the health insurance and long term care insurance, social security administrators check independently complex factual issues with their clients. Within this process they examine all the different requests and point out legal options and alternatives.
Judicial and economic issues are of particular importance.
Often they stand in direct contact with employers, physicians, dentists and hospitals.
Furthermore it is their job to attract new customers.
Every single business transaction and every dossier stands for one person. Customer dialog is especially important; often personal issues are being discussed.
Discretion, appreciation and empathy are necessary.
At the beginning of their apprenticeship the social security administrators take part in the initiation weeks at BMW headquarters in Munich. Parts of the professional training takes place at the regional office in Dingolfing. Theory as well as the intermediate and final examination takes place in Rotenburg/Fulda at teh BKK BMW-Academy (Attendants holding A-levels don´t have to attend a additional training school).
