Vehicle technology and production training courses
Vehicle mechatronics expert - passenger vehicle technology

Automotive technology is in a state of continual development. The simple systems of the past have nowadays evolved into highly-developed technology which accommodates the requirements for passenger safety, the environment and "The Ultimate Driving Machine" in equal measures. Expert allrounders with wide-ranging knowledge are required for the development, manufacture, repair and quality assurance of these vehicles. Highly-modernised workshops and facilities provide technicians with a challenging environment. In addition to routine checks, troubleshooting also creates new challenges on a daily basis.

The car electromechanic gains a comprehensive insight into the constituent parts of modern technology - mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrics and electronics - through familiarisation with functional checks, installation and removal procedures as well as repairs to all vehicle components. Once the training has been completed, specialisation within sub-areas is possible, for example in development, research, quality assurance and fitting.

The range of duties of a vehicle mechatronics expert with a focus on passenger car technology include inspecting vehicles, maintaining the functional and traffic safety of cars, installing accessories, additional and optional equipment, and independently performing fault diagnosis and functionality checks using electronic measurement and testing equipment.

We also offer this course with a support programme to supplement training.
