The job role of an IT technician includes the user support, network systems & IT applications involved in a variety of areas associated with manufacturing and engineering. These include: Finance, Purchasing, Logistics, Administration and Manufacturing Technologies.


Duration of the course.
3.5 - 4 years

The Advanced Modern Apprenticeship programme includes:
- NVQ2 & NVQ3 Installing & supporting I.T Systems
- Further Education Course National Certificate/HNC
- Opportunities for higher education are available, depending on pre-qualifications, personal performance and business needs
- German Language training NVQ2/NVQ3
- International work placements may be possible during the programme.

Requirements.

- A minimum of 4 GCSE's, (Maths/English/Science & a Technology/Business subject) at grade B or equivalent are required
