The task of the electronics technician for system technology involves the extremely fast diagnosis, remedy and prevention of faults as well as the operation and programming of automated production equipment. The setting up, checking, maintenance and repair of machines and systems in the field of automated production therefore make up the core tasks of the job. A good fundamental knowledge of electrical systems, electronics, drive and control engineering, pneumatics, hydraulics and PC technology are therefore required. Electronics technicians for systems technology are expected to work independently and autonomously but are also in the course of their duties required to regularly liaise with specialists in other disciplines and remedy problems related to production equipment as part of a team.
We also offer this course with a support programme to supplement training.

Requirements.
- Good performance in mathematics, ability to think logically, interest in the operation of mechanical, electromechanical and electronic equipment, measurement, adjustment and calibration of assemblies and equipment
- Dexterity, open-mindedness, responsible attitude, safety conscious and also very flexible
- Understanding of the assembly and function of technical equipment and extensive technical production facilities
- Qualifizierter Hauptschulabschluss, mittlere Reife (Werk Berlin: mittlere Reife und Abitur)
