Entry & development programme.
With “Drive”, our flexible and career-oriented entry and development programme, we offer new employees multifaceted opportunities of active involvement in creating the mobile future of the BMW Group. Drive simplifies starting with the BMW Group and offers the possibility of intensive networking.
The Drive programme describes in six stages the world of the BMW Group.
1. Practical hands-on experience is gained through working in production.
2. The Drive seminar serves self-reflection and the study of team processes.
3. Visits to other departments provide a better understanding of corporate processes.
4. A final interview illustrates possible future development perspectives.
Drive forums and informative events broaden your horizon by offering the chance to meet executives from the most diverse areas.
Depending on qualifications and requirement, the Drive programme has a duration of between 18 and a maximum of 24 months. As each Driver registers him/herself for each module, it is possible to significantly codetermine the contents of the programme.
It is not possible to apply directly for Drive. The career-oriented entry and development programme accompanies you “on the job”, that is while you are already assuming responsibility within a definite function at the BMW Group. Therefore, everyone who has successfully gone through the recruitment procedure for a chosen function at the BMW Group and has a graduate degree with a maximum of three years job experience automatically becomes a “Driver”.
The following prerequisites are certainly helpful when applying to the BMW Group:
- Above-average graduate degree
- Relevant enhancing internships, abroad if possible
- If possible, successful initial job experience (max. 3 years)
- Very good knowledge of the corporate languages German and English, further languages if possible
- A personality with a will to perform well, motivation and personal engagement
