The BMW Group Trainingsakademie in Unterschleissheim is not just an absolute visual highlight that won the steel construction prize for its timeless elegance and energy concept in 2006, but consistently ensures the premium concept in every respect. The premium standards of its products are also applied to the qualification of employees.

The BMW Group Trainingsakademie defined standards for the size, allocation and equipment of training centres in order to ensure the optimum prerequisites for efficient and sustainable learning worldwide.
Qualification and Retail HR Germany is responsible for roughly 24,000 employees from the Service, Parts Sales, Sales, Disposition and Workshop departments in the BMW Group commercial organisation and in the branches in Germany. Every year, approx. 8,000 employees take part in the qualification training measures of the BMW Group Trainingsakademie in Unterschleissheim. A further roughly 19,800 employees are distributed across the four decentralised training locations of Hittfeld, Dorsten, Leipzig and Bensheim or are involved in programmes taking place at external venues. The technical training programme also trains and qualifies workshops, associations and authorities (specialists, police, vocational teachers…) that are not related to the brand.
